In the Elementary the students are exposed to select speciality teachers.

They will have reading with the specialist that will also guide them through language, grammar, and composition. These subjects support each other and she uses them as a pathway to introduce the masters, poetry, art, and culture. Literature is enjoyed separately to begin the idea that reading can be done for pleasure and entertainment.

Science class meets for lecture and hands on learning. We have a greater than required commitment to Physical Education. The athletic director uses this time to teach skills and build confidence in various sports.

The classroom teacher continues to be a mainstay for these children as they venture into new territories of learning.
